Hand Off Auto Switches

Programmable Logic Controllers are, from a Controls Engineer's standpoint, one of the greatest advents of the 20th Century. With simple relay logic, more often than not, we were limited to controlling the most basic sequence of operations, with little if any money, space, or time left for the "what ifs" that we knew could, and at some point in time, would happen. The fact that most PLC's have a "boat load" on internal relays, timers and counters build in, has allowed us to ''what if' ourselves to our heart's content. Problem: What if the PLC quits working? Answer: Hand Off Automatic Switches mounted inside your Control Panels. At a minimum, they can be beneficial during the initial installation or for maintenance personnel for testing and adjusting the various components, but they can be extremely valuable to complete a function or clear a system if the PLC should fail
